ScriptLarva recently asked that vc should expand by adding more creative content from users. This is an excellent suggestion. We have always featured good articles from the community. We had guest writers and guest reviewers and we want to maintain that tradition.
But we are also a bit of a quality fundamentalists. What this means is that we don’t want to run sub-standard articles which are of various ‘forum’ quality. You know, one line retorts in sms lingo in colorful fonts. It hurts our head.
So if you want to write for us, here are the rules
- The article should be related to cinema. There are no exceptions.
- The article should be of reasonable length. Meaning, it cannot be an immediate thought, but something thought about. If it is a movie review, it should try follow these guidelines .
- Have an opinion. Justify it in the article. Provoke us, make us think, tell us something we don’t know, or make us laugh.
- It should be spell checked.
- To submit, just leave it as a comment to this post with a valid e-mail address. If it needs furthur editing, we will contact you.

I have a suggestion. I didn’t know where else to post it. So am posting here. Just delete this comment off once you have read it.
Why don’t VC start just like the ‘Incredible Movies’ page exclusively for Malayalam SHORT films. Ofcourse only short films of a certain minimum quality should be allowed (as per the editorial choices). It will be a good opportunity for young filmmakers to get more exposure. And I personally feel in this age of internet, places like youtube etc is as powerful a medium for cinema just like cinema halls.
Best,

Director: Joshey
Producer: A. V. Anoop , Maha Subair
Banner: AVA Productions, Varnachitra
Music: Deepak Dev
Cinematography: Anil Nair
Editing: Ranjan Abraham
Story/Writer: Sibi K Thomas, Udaya Krishna
After 20-20 , again a MULTI-STAR thunderstorm from director Joshy , for Mohanlal , Dileep , Sharath Kumar and Suresh Gopi Fans . With his typical Big Family and underworld canvas , electrifying sound of glasses breaking and Thundering shots Joshy has proved again. With unexpected and surprise twists and Punch dialogues , script writers Sibi K Thomas and Udayakrishna also requires a special mention. I loved ths Back Ground score (Rajamani) , especially when introducing Sarath Kumar
There are a few boring scenes and comedy , but some surprise Punch Shots and Decalogues here and there makes the film enjoyable .Some scenes lack logic but just for Thrill and Enjoyment . The intro and first song of Dileep with Kavya Madavan seemed like boring .
Mohanlal as CHRISTY ,
Suresh Gopi as Joseph Vadakkan IPS
Dileep as Joji
Sarath Kumar as Karim lala
Cast: Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Sarath Kumar, Kavya Madhavan, Kaniha, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Lakshmi Rai, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Babu Antony
Hope you too will enjoy this at a nearby theatre

Apil 18
Today is April 18 and I was thinking about the evergreen hit movie of Balachandra Menon – April 18. When will we get such kind of movies again from Balachandra Menon. There was a time people wait for his movies and many of his films explored the theme of uncommon relationships between common people.
