Jiby decided to blog about Prithviraj’s upcoming movie Thalappavu because of only one reason.

I decided to pitch this movie seeing propoganda aimed against this film by our “harmless” superstar fans who have already begun deriding it as offbeat, a “derisive” label which today is used to keep people away from theatres. A movie like this deserves to succeed but is waiting release as crap superstar flicks like Annan Thampi and Innathe Chinthavishayam continue their artificial run. Hope my little blog has given you all a heads-up and everyone will go watch this movie in its first week [Thalappavu Coming...]

Unlike previous years Prithviraj had hits of his own and so we hope this verdict before trial won’t stand

  1. just curious. can you provide a link where i can see the propoganda against Thalappavu.

Jibs – dunno if you have watched Piravi. It also deals with the naxal movement and Rajan kolakkase

  2. And sadly this sounds so much like a propganda ‘for’ thalappavu. Especially that last bit of ‘exhorting’ viewers to see the film in the first week itself, LOL!

I wish someone would realise that irrespective of propoganda, positive or negative, the film shud run if its good.

  3. Annan Thambi & Lal’s recent movie are the worst movies I have seen so far. It is pathetic to hear that the above ones are suppose to be hits.
    Creepy ….

  4. I also would like to know whats the propoganda against Talappavu. Till date I have not seen anything of that kind.

  5. Inspite of not being a Prithviraj fan, I have decided to watch this movie.
And talking about Lalettan’s latest “hit”,Innathe Chinthavishayam, my dad an ardent Mohanlal fan was throughly dejected and my mom slept through the movie.
Apparently, it was bad even though Sathyan Anthikad directed it.

Mohanlal, time to say quits sir!

  6. or is it a propoganda for the
lead actor of Thalappavu ? ;-)

  7. Apparently there is no propaganda against this film. It was a hallucination of the blogger cited in the article and it was used as a ploy to get people to watch some Naxalite murderer being killed by police. I hope people won’t fall to such propaganda and watch the movie only if it is good.

it is the people who has to decide what they should watch.., but in kerala it is always somebody force something on the society tht the people are forced to watch since there is no other options..Everybody cares about their growth only ,thru which way is it coming is not an issue now a days.., we can wait and watch what happens to this film..

  9. this is an amazing movie.. sad that it hasnt released in the main theaters.. for example, it released in little shenoys in ekm, a theater that has just 255 seats.. such movies dont come everyday, and its bad that even such movies of high quality dont get a chance to attract the crowd that they simply deserve

  10. prithviraj in the movies is an interesting watch and he carries the entire film deftly and adeptly.but his tv interviews give the picture of someone who is so articulate to a fault and this could posture him as being a wee bit aggressive for some one who should b targetting to enter the good books of his/actor’s target- minds in a positive way.for someone opinionated about almost everything the problem of image as actor/self seems to be still unresolved…balachandran
