RIP : MS Thrippunithara





Veteran Actor M.S.Thripunithara passed away. We remember him for the wide range of characters he had potrayed in his long career in Malayalam Cinema. However big or small his role was, MS Thrippunithara was adept at convincingly and effectively potraying his characters.

He was found unconscious while he travelling in a train in Shornur, but was pronounced dead on arrival at the Railway Hospital.

His first movie was Kadalamma in 1963. Initially he concentrated on the stage but later in 80s he started to concentrate in movies.  MS Thrippunithara has acted in nearly 300 movies and numerous teleserials.

Eminent Malayalam film actor M.S. Thrippunithura died in a train here on Wednesday morning, Railway sources said. Thrippunithura, 60, had come from Chennai and boarded a link train to Kochi when he felt exhaustion. Fellow passengers took him to the Railway hospital here, but the doctors found him dead on arrival.

Starting his career as a stage actor, Thrippunithura shifted to films in the 1980s. He soon excelled as a supporting actor and a comedian and went on to receive several awards. Cine actor M.S. Thrippunithura passes away.
